"I Remember You" is a song by American heavy metal band Skid Row. It was released in November 1989 as the third single from their eponymous debut album.
This longing ballad is about a man who can't seem to let go of the girl he loves. As he obsesses over her and refuses to move on, his days are unending and his nights are sleepless.
The lyric is written by Rachel Bolan, a bass player on Skid Row who frequently writes about down-on-their-luck males who struggle to integrate into society. It was co-written by Bolan and guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo.
